Naked Cakes and Semi Naked Cakes are still a huge trend in 2017/2018.
For many couples its a much more attractive type of Wedding Cake, preferring their cakes without fondant which some can find very sweet. They also have a beautiful rustic/natural feel… so often couples who are planning on getting married outdoors, in barns or marquees prefer this style of cake. Naked cakes also smell amazing and are a more affordable option when choosing a Wedding Cake.
For 2017/2018 this range will come with a choice of three flavours;
Rich chocolate fudge cake soaked with vanilla bean syrup, filled with chocolate fudge frosting.
Lemon Drizzle cake soaked with lemon syrup filled with lemon curd butter-frosting.
Traditional Victoria sponge soaked with vanilla bean syrup, filled generously with strawberry jam and vanilla bean butter frosting.

Three tiers (each built to 5″)
6″,8″,10″ – £375
Four tiers (each built to 5″)
6″, 8″, 10″, 12″ – £425.
We deliver our Wedding Cakes to the whole of the South East of England, covering East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, London, Essex etc.. We often deliver further a field too, delivery is free for the first hour from Cake Design by Joanna Clarke, in Crowborough East Sussex, after that delivery is charged at £50 per hour. Naked cakes will be delivered by one of the highly trained members of the Chef Team.

Samples – Consultations with full tasting menu are available for naked cakes at a charge of £25, or a selection of ‘The Naked Range’ three flavour samples can be collected from the studio with a charge of £5.
